The Wine

Cabreo is one of the first sensory expressions that characterised the “taste turning point” of Tuscan wine in the early 1980s.
Particularly suitable for long aging, this wine reflects 40 years of Italian winemaking history through a style that has remained unchanged over time.
Vintage: purple red, crystalline and bright, on the nose it presents great synergy between secondary aromas of the fruit and tertiary aromas of the wood. In the mouth it expresses the young maturity of a great red, alternating pleasant tannic sensations with sweet vinous sensations. Descriptors: marasca, coconut, chocolate vanilla with a finish of tobacco and herbal infusions.

First vintage: 1982
Shelf life: up to 20-30 years
