The Wine

Rosato Bolgheri DOC is born through the white vinification of the Merlot grapes grown on Tenuta Campo al Mare. The freshness and pleasantness of the fruit are maintained and enhanced thanks to an early harvest of part of the red grapes dedicated to the production of the red type.
Tastings: The 2022 vintage is characterised by old pink and onion skin colour with smells of red apple, pomelo, cherry and wild rose. Herbal and mineral hints. Mouthfeel sensations of freshness and salinity softened by a creamy consistency.
Pairing: Villa di Nozzole suggests to pair it with spaghetti alla chitarra and a spicy white ragù prepared with Tyrrhenian Sea fish
First vintage: 2013
Shelf life: up to 5 years
Curiosity: the rosé type is the true historical wine of Bolgheri, a precursor of the great red wines of the coast
