The Wine

Selvante is the result of the innovative style of the Bolgheri wine culture: an exclusive wine conceived, desired, and crafted by Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari at Tenuta di Campo al Mare, where only in this environmental context does Cabernet Franc achieve such a harmoniously complex and original sensory profile.
Selvante’s first harvest dates back to 2019. Made from 100% Cabernet Franc grapes grown on the Campo al Mare estate in the municipality of Castagneto Carducci, this wine originates in the hilly terroir upstream of the Bolgheri provincial road in the Segalari district – the vineyard is situated on an owned plot dedicated exclusively to this wine project.
