The Wine

Petit Verdot is part of the history of the Bolgheri area, where the perfect territorial and environmental suitability is combined with an ancient wine culture, which manages to enhance the most intimate essence
of the vines. The use of a single grape variety represents an oenological rarity in the Bolgheri wine scene and Gallico expresses the enhancement of the territory and its heritage through a glass characterised by a modern and original sensory profile.

Tasting: The 2020 vintage is strongly characterised by its grape variety, which reveals hints of enamel, strawberry, rhubarb and coffee, Silky and firm tannins, but never astringent. Deep royal purple colour with violet reflections.
Pairing: we suggest to pair it with stewed hare and aged cheeses.
First vintage: 2019
Shelf life: up to 20 years
