Vermentino made on Tenuta Campo al Mare is the son of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The vineyards are grown on completely sandy soils only a few hundred metres from the coast. An unconventional viticulture. The glass reveals minerality and freshness that recall the iodised notes of the Bolgheri coast.
Tasting: Aromatic abundance with hints of ripe peach, mango, buttercup, lemon peel and iodised notes. Freshness and taste smooth the palate to get ready for the second glass.
Pairing: Villa di Nozzole suggests to pair it with the Mediterranean salad but also with seafood, summer fish dishes or just enjoy it as an aperitif
First vintage: 2005
Shelf life: up to 3 years
Curiosity: Vermentino is the prince grape variety of the Mediterranean Sea. It is cultivated on sands and for this reason it best expresses the mineral notes
